What It Is: A series of videos running between 30 and 60 minutes, generally. Available for free on YouTube.

What’s It About: Lynette is a southern beautician getting up to wild adventures in a fairly small town. She’s married and has two daughters; most of her story revolves around a group of gossipy, strange friends and family members -- and her surprise pet cow. (This is an ASMR series and contains whispering, soft speaking, and a variety of other ASMR triggers like scratching, paper rustling, and plastic crinkling.)
What Makes It Great: Lynette is funny, sarcastic, and a little silly, and she’s surprisingly compelling. She started as simply a character with a strong southern accent, but the creator has built a developed world and strong cast of characters around her. The videos are mostly her chatting with the viewer as a customer or a friend (or both), and she meanders through local gossip with a lot of asides along the way.
It’s a warm, charming series that is mostly lighthearted and humorous but sometimes touches on more emotional topics (aging, loneliness, strained family relations, fights in friendships).

Summary: Family reunion gossip session, Lynette burned down the salon where she works, Lynette and her mama are fighting over Lynette not bringing something homemade to the reunion, family gossip, and Aunt Verlene’s Terrible Pickles make an appearance.

Lynette’s Fool-Proof Bovine Relocation Plan (May 9, 2017)
Summary: Rhonda the Cow has been sold to a dairy farm, and Lynette is determined to get back her back. Rhonda’s practically her bff by now. Lynette comes up with what is surely a fool-proof, totally legal plan. Kinda legal. Not that legal. And she just needs a tiny bit of help and a quick Target run. Now if only Symphony would get the right apples. Rhonda’s picky.

Attorney Up-Close Whisper/Soft Spoken (May 14, 2017)
Summary: So much for a fool-proof bovine relocation plan. Lynette’s court-appointed attorney gives her some rules and some advice and gets some background on the attempted cow heist.
Visitor’s Day at the Prison (May 24, 2017)
Summary: Lynette’s got some lawyer troubles and some visitors bringing her gifts and gossip. And maybe a little bit of apologies from Trish who posted on Facebook that night: Just waiting for my buddy Lynette to finish stealing a cow.
Maybe she shouldn’t have posted the location, for that matter.
Oh well, Symphony’s got a wedding for them to plan anyway.

Lynette’s Prison Nail Appointments (May 29, 2017)
Summary: Even in prison, Lynette’s got nails to do and gossip to share, especially with both Dr Phil and Jerry Springer filming right there in the prison on the same day. She’s still waiting for a new lawyer and can’t afford to bribe the warden with a fancy wig. Trish and Symphony are both too busy to visit for awhile. Lynette makes some prison friends.

Not even Jimmy’s come lately because he’s no longer kicked out of the Wal-Mart, though Lynette understands why -- but Symphony and Jimmy bonding is a surprise.

Trish still hasn’t given Lynette back her spot in the salon, either.

Summary: Amber Lynn’s got gum stuck in her hair for the third time recently, and right before the family Christmas pictures, too. She’s also heard some gossip about why her mom went away for the weekend after that ornament exchange, even though Lynette says she was alway at this special farm spa for stressed moms.

Lynette’s Nursing Home Gift Project (Dec 18, 2017)
Summary: Lynette’s got some community service after that whole ornament party, but since it’s something she does for the Camden Willows Nursing Home anyway, it’s not too bad. Plus just about everyone kicks in to help, whether or not that’s actually welcome.
Lynette’s not too sure about this whole moth dander allergy, though.

Summary: Lynette’s stepped in to judge the pig contest at the Camden County fair. And she may have snuck Rhonda into the back of the shop to get all fancy before the Bovine Beauty Pageant, which she’s never won. Lynette is determined she’ll win it this year. Trish doesn’t know, but Symphony’s keeping her quiet with Young and the Restless while she puts in extensions and paints her hooves.
